In a region where displaced families often struggle to access essential aid, young Cameroonian civil administrator Nchofon Mingoh has been named the "Most Pragmatic Relief Aid Management Civil Administrator" for 2026 by the Cameroon English Language Newspaper Publishers Association (CENPA). The award highlights Mingoh's hands-on approach to managing, coordinating, and distributing government relief aid to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and vulnerable populations throughout the North West Region.

The CENPA Award 2026 certificate signed by SG Dr. Olive Ejang Tebug and President Kristian Ngah Christian, recognizing Nchofon Mingoh's exceptional service.

Relief administration often gets bogged down in paperwork and institutional bottlenecks. Mingoh, however, has consistently bypassed standard administrative delays to ensure aid reaches those who need it most.

Instead of directing efforts behind a desk, he works directly on the ground—engaging face-to-face with displaced families and directly supervising the distribution of aid items.

The ongoing socio-economic and humanitarian challenges in Cameroon's North West Region have left thousands of families reliant on prompt relief efforts. CENPA's recognition reflects Mingoh's commitment to placing people ahead of protocol, ensuring that relief items pass efficiently from government repositories to individual households.

Accepting the award, Mingoh emphasized that the honor serves as a renewed commitment to the communities he serves:

"I am deeply honoured and humbled by this recognition. I see it not simply as a personal achievement, but as an encouragement to continue putting people at the centre of everything I do. Administration is ultimately about service—listening to people, understanding their needs, finding practical solutions and turning challenges into opportunities for positive change."

He also acknowledged the field officers, community leaders, and humanitarian staff working alongside him, noting that effective aid delivery depends on strong teamwork and shared dedication.
